ARTPO PAINTINGS EXHIBITION

Today Primary 3rd and 4th students visited a very special exhibition. They went to "Mercado Vello" to see ARTPO creations. They enjoyed themselves looking for the paintings they had done a month before. Thank you Miri, Eduardo and Lourdes to show us your work and your mates' work.

Hoxe os nenos e nenas de 3º e 4º de primaria visitaron unha exposición moi especial. Foron ao Mercado Vello para ver as creacións de ARTPO. Divertíronse moito buscando os cadros que eles mesmos fixeran fai un mes. Grazas a Miri, Eduardo e Lourdes por amosarnos o voso traballo e os dos vosos compañeiros.

BIRDS

We are in spring and summer is near! We wanted to do something related with this, so we designed our birds. We used cardboards of different colours and we put beak, wings, tail,...in our birds, of course! Look at them! Do you like them?

Estamos en primavera e o verán está cerca! Quixemos facer algo relacionado con esto, así que diseñamos os nosos paxaros. Utilizamos cartolinas de distintas cores e puxemos pico, alas, cola,...nos nosos paxaros, claro! Miradeos! Gústanvos?

MANDALA CHALLENGE

3-years-old children proposed us a challenge: The Mandala Challenge. We accepted, of course! These days we were very concentrated painting mandalas and listening to relaxing music. We advise you to follow this challenge. We liked it very much! Thank you for this great idea!

Os nenos e nenas de 3 anos propuxéronnos un reto: O Reto Mandala. Nós aceptamos, claro está! Estes días estivemos moi concentrados pintando mandalas e escoitando música relaxante. Aconsellámosvos que sigades este reto. A nós gustounos moito! Graciñas por esta gran idea!

RECYCLING

This is our project for the Recycling contest we have in our school. It was difficult to do it. We had lots of patience to do it. At the end we did it!

Este é o noso proxecto para o concurso do reciclado que temos no colexio. Foi difícil. Tivemos moita paciencia e ao final fixémolo!

EASTER EGG HUNT

In our bilingual sections (P.E and Art), we thought it was a great idea to do an Easter Egg Hunt. Primary 3rd and 4th children participated and enjoyed very much.
Thank you to all the teachers that help Pedro and me to do this activity: Loli, Fina Blanco, Begoña and Concha. Thanks to Angélica, Marita, Paula and Noemi too.

Nas nosas seccións bilingües (E.F. e Plástica) pensamos que era unha boa idea facer unha búsqueda de ovos de Pascua. Os nenos e nenas de 3º e 4º de primaria participaron e se divertiron moito.
Grazas a todos os mestres que nos axudaron a Pedro e a min a facer esta actividade: Loli, Fina Blanco, Begoña e Concha. Grazas tamén a Angélica, Marita, Paula e Noemi.

WHAT A SURPRISE!

Today we have got a great surprise! Someone came to visit us, she was a very special person for us. She was Miri Franco, the painter we painted her paintings. It was fantastic!
The children asked her lots of questions and they show her a book they had done. Miri liked the exposition we have got in the corridor with her paintings and told us about her favourite painting...
Besides she invited us to visit her studio, the place where she paints. So perhaps on the third term we can go and visit her!

THANK YOU MIRI FOR VISITING US AND COME BACK WHEN YOU WANT!!!

Hoxe tivemos unha sorpresa! Alguén veu visitarnos, unha persoa especial para nós. Era Miri Franco, a pintora que pintara os cadros que nosotros reproducimos. Foi xenial! Os nenos/as preguntáronlle moitas cousas e lle ensinaron un libro que fixeran. A Miri gustoulle a exposición que temos no corredor cos seus cadros e contounos cal era o seu cadro favorito...
Ademais invitounos a visitar o seu estudio, o lugar onde ela pinta. Así que ao mellor no terceiro trimestre podemos ir e visitala nós.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE

Once we finished Keith Haring painting, we thought it was a good idea write the word love in different languages. We coloured the words and we put them inside the hearts. Saint Valentine's is coming!

Unha vez que o cadro de Keith Haring estivo rematado, pensamos que era boa idea escribir a palabra mor en distintos idiomas. Coloreamos as palabras e puxémolas dentro dos corazóns. Chega San Valentín!

A BIG PAINTING

This was the idea... to do a very big painting. One of the children rest on a piece of paper and then the other child draw around his or her body. It was fun and a bit difficult stay without moving. But at the end they did it!

Esta era a idea... facer un cadro moi grande. Un dos nenos poñíase nun trozo de papel e outro debuxaba o seu corpo. Foi divertido e un pouco dificil estar quieto sin moverse. Pero ao final fixérono!

We liked Keith Haring. We were drawing his typical human beings and animals. It was fun! We used bright colours and this is the result. Look!
